The auction runs a comprehensive check on all vehicles checked in for sale. During the inspection, they found a minor scratch/dent on the bottom of the car. Due to NAAA rules the auction had to announce structural damage. It doesn't matter how small or minor the scratch is, they would still have to announce it.
